Your tasks:

• Design of mechanical components and cooling solutions for congatec standard products and portfolio
• Design of customer specific mechanical components and cooling solutions up to system level
• Production documentation for mechanical parts, functional blocks, and systems
• Qualification of 3rd party parts, functional blocks and system
• Close cooperation with Contract Manufacturer to ensure cost optimized and easy to manufacture products in serial production
• Technical assessment and evaluation of new Contract Manufacturers
• Responsible contact for mechanical tasks in assigned projects
• Technical support for mechanical and cooling solution related customer requests and questions
• Technical leadership of mechanical engineers and technicians 

Your profile:

• University degree in mechanical engineering or electro technical engineering, or comparable professional experience
• At least 2 year experience in technical leadership
• Expert knowledge in using 3D CAD (SolidWorks is of advantage)
• at least 5 year experience in mechanical design like: 
• Design of cooling solution for electronic systems  - active/passive cooling
• Design of aluminum/plastic chassis for die casting 
• Design of equipment chassis
• Thermal simulations
• Ability to finding functional, cost effective and esthetic solutions
• Knowledge of English at level B2
• Flexibility, team spirit and enthusiasm to work
• Responsibility, target oriented and motivating teams
• Attention to detail and getting things done
