mini-ITX Carrier Board for XTX

XTX carrier board with a rich set of features

Deggendorf, Nuremberg, February 13th, 2007 – congatec AG exhibits the first mini-ITX carrier board for XTX at the Embedded World trade show in Nuremberg. The conga-ITX/X is equipped with many interfaces and supports all XTX embedded CPU modules. All mini-ITX applications can now profit from the feature diversity and scalability of the XTX embedded module concept.

The conga-ITX/X carrier board is mini-ITX (170x170mm) compliant and supports all available XTX modules. On the front side you will find 4 USB ports, analog Audio, 2x Ethernet (Gigabit and 10/100), VGA, LPT, one serial Interface and PS/2 mouse/keyboard. Three additional serial interfaces (2x RS232, 1x TTL) and one USB are accessible via on board pin headers.
Mass storage devices can be connected using EIDE, SATA and the CompactFlash socket on the bottom side.
The system is expandable via a PCI Express card (x1), a miniPCI Express card and a PCI card. The PCI expansion slot has additional signals on an extra connector in order to allow the use of multiple PCI cards through an optional riser card.
Additional signals on the feature connector enables the use of ACPI battery management. This connector is ideal for the conga-SBM² from congatec, which is a complete smart battery manager that provides the ability to configure a full feature mobile solution with notebook like battery functionality.
The conga-ITX/X is available for mass production in June 2007.
