AEON and Fastwel join the XTX Consortium

The XTX Consortium is pleased to welcome AAEON and Fastwel as new participating members.

Nuremberg, February 13th, 2007 – The XTX Consortium is pleased to welcome AAEON and Fastwel as new participating members.
The XTX standard, published for the first time two years ago, is enjoying a strong increase in popularity. The number of XTX users and suppliers is rapidly growing. Due to the free interchangeability, multiple upgrade and second source possibilities are available.
Including AAEON and Fastwel, the XTX Consortium now has nine participating members. Numerous other companies have joined the consortium as supporting members in order to stay up-to-date.
The latest revision (1.2) of the XTX Specification can now be downloaded at www.xtx-standard.org. This site also includes more detailed information as well as reference design schematics.
XTX is truly an open standard that is freely available and not subject to any license fees. All members of the XTX Consortium have been granted the right to use the XTX brand name and logo without any restrictions. All manufacturers of embedded computer modules are encouraged by the XTX Consortium to join their existing membership ranks.
