ETX® embedded CPU module with Intel® Pentium® M / Celeron® M and ISA support


Performance

The conga-E855 features Intel® Pentium® M processors up to 1.6 GHz. High memory bandwidth is provided by supporting up to 1 GByte memory (DDR333).

Lead-free Design (RoHS)

As of July 2006, all electronic products are required to be environmentally friendly. All congatec AG products fulfill this requirements.

Low Power Consumption

The complete conga-E855 design is geared around low power consumption. The Ultra Low Voltage Intel® Celeron® M 600 MHz and Intel® Celeron® M 1 GHz variants are very well suited for mobile solutions. The congatec Embedded BIOS offers ACPI 2.0 support. Enhanced Intel® SpeedStep® Technology is supported for Pentium® M versions.

All ETX® I /O`s

The conga-E855 features all ETX® interfaces including the ISA bus. Although the Intel ICH4 has no direct ISA support, the ISA Bus is generated by an additional PCI to ISA bridge device.

Graphics Efficiency

The integrated Intel® Extreme Graphics controller with two independent pipelines features latest 3D, 2D video capabilities. Supports up to 64 MByte frame buffer using Dynamic Video Memory Technology (DVMT). The congatec embedded BIOS automatically recognizes almost every available flat panel display and sets all parameters accordingly. Displays can be connected using the LVDS interface, analog VGA interface or the DVO port.

Connectivity

Thanks to the 4x USB 2.0, 2x COM, LPT, FDC, PCI, ISA, I²C, LAN, 2x EIDE ... the conga-E855 offers all the connectivity you expect from an ETX embedded computer module.
