The compact COM Express™ compatible module is specified for the full  industrial temperature range.

Industrial Temperature

All components used for this high density design are specified for an ambient temperature range of -40° to +80°C.

Rugged Design

The conga-CAx features 1 GByte onboard DRAM and an integrated IDE Flash drive with a capacity of up to 8 GByte. There are no movable components on the module. This enables the design of rugged solutions for harsh environment.

Lowest Power Consumption

The complete module is designed for ultra low power consumption. Thanks to the extremely low power consumption of the brand new Intel® Atom™ processor Z5xxPT series and the Intel® System Controller Hub US15WPT, fanless and ultra mobile applications are easily implemented.

Compact Form Factor

The “COMPACT” version is based on the Type 2 pinout specified by the PICMG COM Express specification. The module's dimensions are 95x95mm². which is one third shorter than the COM Express Basic size definition. This means it can be much more easily integrated into size constricted systems.

Lead-Free Design (RoHS)

All congatec AG designs are created from lead‑free components and are completely RoHS compliant.

Gigabit Ethernet

The conga-CAx features Gigabit Ethernet via the COM Express™ connectors to enable fast communication links.

Performance

Intel® Atom™ processor Z5xxPT series offers a performance level that can be utilized by many different applications.

Flexible Graphics

The integrated graphic controller has the ability to control displays and monitors. Flat panel displays can be attached using LVDS or SDVO. EPI and DisplayID are supported to allow automatic panel detection.

Software and Driver Support

congatec offers advanced Board-Support-Packages for the conga-CAx, which include both the latest tested drivers from silicon vendors and the congatec specific drivers for accessing all of our additional embedded BIOS features. This will help our customers reduce their time-to-market.
