congatec is an innovative and experienced manufacturer of Qseven, COM Express, XTX and ETX embedded computer boards. The highly skilled employees have more than 200-manpower years of experience in the fast growing embedded computer industry. Based in Deggendorf Germany, the company’s objective is to engineer and market industrial computer modules based on standard form factors. congatec's products are available for all business segments and industries. Customers can be found in industrial control, medical, automotive supplies, aircraft and transportation fields. Typical applications are machine control, vending machines and visualization terminals. congatec's main know-how includes the support of our embedded BIOS features, excellent driver support as well as full-featured board support packages. Customers receive complete product lifecycle support starting early during the design-in stage. congatec products are manufactured by specialized contract manufacturers who fulfill the latest quality standards.

Software and Driver Support
congatec offers advanced Board-Support-Packages, which will include both the latest tested drivers from silicon vendors and the congatec specific drivers for accessing all of our additional embedded module features. This will help customers reduce time-to-market.
Display Technology
Most embedded customer applications require some sort of graphic display in the form of a flat panel. Due to the fact that flat panel manufacturers don’t follow a uniform specification, special adaptation know how is necessary. Automatic Panel Detection via EPI (Embedded Panel Interface based on VESA EDID™ 1.3) can detect and configure most flat panels available on the market today.
BIOS Expertise
When it comes to Embedded computing often the difference between one company’s product and another’s is the BIOS. The company that provides a versatile and flexible BIOS, which can be configured to meet customer’s needs quickly, will become a market leader. congatec has more than 40 manpower years of combined experience in BIOS development alone. Lifecycle Support

In addition to this congatec is offering lifecycle support during our product’s lifetime. This means we will offer replacement modules, when applicable, and quick and efficient handling of repairs during the lifecycle of our products. congatec will also pay close attention to component lifecycles in order to provide our customers with advanced end-of-life warnings for our products.
Test and Approval Methods
All congatec AG products are tested throughout their development stage as well as their manu-facturing stage with well-supervised proven test methods and strategies. Every congatec project that results in a consumer product is subjected to an approval test according to congatec AG specifications and standards, which involves a 100% functionality test using instruments specifically designed for functionality testing. All products must pass this approval test before they are released for mass production. Additionally random sample inspections are performed during mass production runs.
